Compliments from a mom

This is Katie. 

Katie's mom came into our store today to tell us thank you for helping her daughter find a modest prom dress that she could look gorgeous, and feel comfortable in. Katie's mom got lots of compliments from other parents about Katie's dress and how fantastic she looked. You looked so cute Katie! Thanks for coming into Lauren James. And thanks to Katie's classy mom for sharing that story with us! :)

Building Up A Strapless Dress

Thanks to cute Bryce for sharing her pictures of the alteration she did on her prom gown from our Arizona store! This is a great example of a way you can build up a strapless dress to make it modest, while still keeping the integrity of the dress. It looks absolutely seamless, like the dress was designed that way. 

Featured Bride: Kelsey

Kelsey chose the 38128B in light gold for her wedding dress. This dress features lace appliqué and beading throughout, with lace edging on the sweep train. Originally this dress was strapless, but Kelsey ordered matching fabric and appliqué to build up a jacket. You look gorgeous Kelsey! Thanks for being a Lauren James Bride!

Featured Bride: Madisyn

This is Madisyn. For her wedding dress, she chose the 4050M in white. She loved the sheath cut, diagonal ruching, and pickups at the bottom of the skirt. This gown usually comes with a square neck, but Madisyn customized it by turning it into a scoop neck. She also accessorized it with a gorgeous beaded belt and tiara. Thank you for sharing your photos with us Madi, and congratulations on your wedding!

Mr. Mountainview Pageant

Some of the lovely ladies of Mountainview High School borrowed our prom dresses for the prestigious Mr. Mountainview Pageant!

Ashlee Hess, a Mountainview senior and coordinator of the pageant had this to say:

Thank you so much for allowing us to use your dresses. The girls loved them and they all looked beautiful on stage! Many are coming back to purchase a dress for prom and so are many of my friends. You will find the dresses in perfect condition and we advertised as we promised. Thank you!
